The large trunk was more than sufficient for a family of four heading out for a weekend trip.  My one quibble was that the radar cruise control was slow to react in cases when the car ahead has greatly increased speed. It was slow to catch up, but it eventually got there.

Finally, it’s important to note that the 2019 ES is the same length and has the same wheelbase measurement as the current Toyota Avalon and that increase in size makes itself known in tighter turns.

It’s been several years since we last drove a Lexus ES and this is clearly the most refined, comfortable, and intelligently designed of the model.  The F Sport offers a balance between a sporty and a comfortable ride, and the standard safety features are virtually unparalleled.
