Toyota Unveils 2020 Supra with Wireless Apple CarPlay in Detroit
Toyota announced that its all-new 2020 Supra sports car will feature a wireless version of Apple CarPlay.
The Supra – a nameplate which hasn’t been on sale in the United States for two decades – was introduced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit this week.
Wireless CarPlay enables the in-car software platform to operate without requiring the use of a cable to connect an iPhone to the car. BMW already offers wireless CarPlay and Mercedes-Benz has said it will offer the feature in the future.
Other cars introduced in Detroit with CarPlay include the all-new 2020 Kia Telluride SUV and the 2019 Dodge Ram Heavy Duty truck.
