Volkswagen Reports Increase in November Sales

DSC_0597Volkswagen released financial results for November 2014. The company’s total U.S. sales were up 3.2% from November 2013, selling 31,725 vehicles as compared to 30,727 from the previous year.

As in October, total sales of the brand new Golf (including the GTI and e-Golf) saw the biggest increase in sales from the previous November, rising 78%. The company sold 3,993 vehicles as compared to 2,243 in November 2013.

Total sales of the Jetta (including the Jetta SportWagen) came out to 15,633, up 25.9% from the previous November when 12,417 vehicles were sold.

Sales of the Wolfsburg-based automaker’s Beetle model saw the biggest decline, dropping 41.4% on sales of 1,665 vehicles as compared to 2,842 from November 2013. The company’s CC also saw a decline in sales dropping 40.6%, with 622 vehicles sold.
