Mercedes-Benz Reports Record November Sales

DSC_1160Mercedes-Benz announced financial results for November 2014.

The company’s total U.S. sales were up 0.6% from November 2013, selling 34,578 vehicles as compared to 34,376. The sales set a new record for the highest November sales volume in the company’s history.

The company’s sales of the Stuttgart-based automaker’s C-, M-, and E-Class vehicles helped lead to the best November sales in history. The C-Class led the pack with 9,259 vehicles sold, an increase of 17.5% from the previous November. The M-Class followed with 5,190 vehicles sold, an increase of 19.9% from the same month last year. The E-Class followed in third with 4,737 vehicles sold, a decrease of 45% from November 2013.

The Mercedes-Benz S-Class also showed strong sales results with 2,863 units sold, an increase of 50.1% from the same month last year.

The company’s Sprinter Vans and smart car models achieved year-over-year increases in sales.2,532 Sprinter Vans were sold and 815 smart car models were sold.

Mercedes-Benz pre-owned vehicle sales were up 9.6% from November 2013, selling 9,692 units.
