Chrysler Achieves Best October Since 2001

DSC_5363The Chrysler Group announced financial results for October 2014. The company’s total U.S. sales were up 22% from October 2013, selling 1,726,539 vehicles as compared to 1,497,086. These results marked the best October sales for the company since 2001.

Chrysler’s Jeep brand saw the biggest increase in sales from the previous October, rising 52%. The company sold 571,585 vehicles as compared to 391,764 in October 2013. The company’s Ram pickup model saw in increase in sales as well, rising 33%. The brand sold 359,702 vehicles this October as compared to 300,560 from the previous October. Fiat brand saw an increase in sales by rising 1%.

On the other hand, sales of Dodge vehicles were down 8%, selling 486,469 vehicles as compared to 507,148 from October 2013.

Total sales of the Chrysler brand were up 17%, marking the best October sales for the company since 2007. The Chrysler 200 mid-sized sedan saw a strong increase in sales by rising 40%.
