BMW October Sales Up 11%

IMG_3524BMW Group announced financial results for October 2014. The company’s total U.S. sales were up 11% from October 2013 selling 30,602 vehicles as compared to 27,574.   The company said it was its best October ever.

BMW’s Mini unit reported a decrease in sales by 7%, selling only 5,300 vehicles as compared to 5,700 from October 2013. Mini pre-owned vehicles also saw a decrease in sales by 3.7% selling 1,889 vehicles as compared to 1,962 from the previous year.

Sales of BMW pre-owned vehicles were down 1.5%, selling 15,272 vehicles as compared to 15,502 from the previous year.

The automaker’s motorcycle division, BMW Motorrad USA, reported a 13.9% increase in sales for the period, with a total of 1,215 bikes sold.
