Porsche Reports Sales Increase for September

DSC_0207Porsche Cars North America announced financial results for September 2014. The company’s total sales in September were up 16.6%, selling 3,607 vehicles as compared to 3,093 from the previous September.

The company’s 911 and 918 models saw an increase in sales, selling 739 units as compared to 609 units sold in the same month last year.

On the other hand, sales of the company’s Cayenne and Panamera models decreased year-over-year. The Cayenne model decreased to 1,196 units sold from 1,396 units from September 2013 while the Panamera model decreased to 450 units sold from 475 units sold in the same month last year. Also, the Boxster and Cayman models both decreased in September, selling 520 units as compared to 613 from September 2013.

Meanwhile, the company’s new Macan SUV model continues to sell, as 702 vehicles were sold this month.

Porsche Certified pre-owned vehicles sales were up 15.9% from September 2013, selling 957 vehicles.
