DSC_0175Audi announced financial results for July 2014. The German-based company reported total U.S. sales of 14,616 vehicles sold for July, a year-over-year increase of 11.9%. The July deliveries marked the 43nd consecutive record month of sales for Audi.  To date, 2014 has produced four of the six best U.S. sales months in the company’s history.

The rise in total Audi sales for July was driven by the performance of the company’s Premium car brands, which constituted nearly one-third of all Audi sales in July.  Sales of the A8 rose by 11.3% year-over-year, while sales of the luxury Q5 and Q7 SVU brands rose 0.4% and 8.9%, respectively.

Sales for July were also bolstered by the 2015 Audi A3 sedan, which was recently introduced in April and sold 2,164 units in the month of July, as well as a total of 9,899 vehicles since its launch.

The company’s TDI models sold 1,298 vehicles during the month, making up 13.3% of total Audi sales for July.

Audi Certified pre-owned vehicles saw a significant increase in sales for July of 26.6% to 4,116 CPO vehicles sold, which marks the 12th consecutive month of record sales for the brand.
